Harry Styles performed dressed like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz last night, and fans thought it was iconic.

At his Madison Square Garden gig in New York last night, called “Harryween”, the singer came out wearing the classic Dorothy dress with red tights, blue socks and red shoes. He carried a basket and had a ribbon in his hair and he even sang Somewhere Over The Rainbow, a song which was made famous by Judy Garland, who played Dorothy in the 1939 release of the film.

As photos and videos of the sold-out event circulated online, people took to Twitter to say that they found the outfit pretty iconic:

Meanwhile, people also posted pictures showing him and the character side by side so they could compare the likeness:

Fans were also encouraged to attend the Harryween event in fancy dress and Styles was joined by alternative country singer Orville Peck at the two day gig.

A total of 21,000 guests attended each night to celebrate the end of his show, Love On Tour, a 41-show national tour for his album “Fine Line.”

However well his fans dressed up, safe to say it was Harry Styles who won Halloween.
