Yesterday Donald Trump signed a pledge not to stand as an independent candidate if he failed to win the Republican nomination for president.
This was deemed necessary because of the boos that rang out when Trump failed to confirm he would only stand as a Republican during the first major debate last month.
What we find strange, however, is that Trump seems to have dated it August 3 2015.
This picture was taken in New York after Trump signed the pledge.
A version posted later on Trump's Twitter account has the right date on it, but not in Trump's own handwriting.
Often we wake up wondering what year it is, and who the president is, but we would expect more from the front-runner in the GOP race... or should we?
In an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt yesterday, Trump was asked about the leaders of major militant groups, but he mistook Quds for the Kurds and failed to distinguish Hamas from Hezbollah.
It ended with Trump being asked whether the the difference between the two groups didn't matter now, but would if he was in the White House:
It will when it’s appropriate. I will know more about it than you know, and believe me, it won’t take me long.
We hope that President Trump (shudder) also quickly works out the difference between August and September.
Quiz: Real Donald Trump policy or policy of our warped imaginations?
