United States President Donald Trump has a thing about handshakes.
We've covered it before. World leaders know it's a thing. They've got strategies against it now.
Trump and his wife, Melania, are visiting France to mark Bastille Day, taking Emmanuel Macron up on his surprise invitation.
The last time he publicly shook hands with the newly elected French President, Macron definitely got the better of the 45th President.
This time, Trump's handshake with Macron came and went with little controversy.
Macron held his shoulder, outstrengthed him. Not hard.
However, Trump did turn heads for his behaviour with French First Lady Brigitte Macron:
Presumably he was angry he didn't assert himself enough over Emmanuel, and thus thought Brigitte was the next best option.
People on Twitter noticed the handshake was a bit grabby:
I mean, how difficult is it for him to greet someone without REALLY LETTING THEM KNOW HE HAS NO PROBLEMS WITH HIS MASCULINITY?
Oh, and Trump had his back to Melania the whole time, and didn't wait for her to come round from the other side of the car before he started shaking hands.
Class act.
