It seems George Clooney is one to hold grudges, as he clearly has not forgiven fellow Oscar-winner Russell Crowe for criticising him several years ago.
"Just out of the blue, [Crowe]'s like, 'I'm not some sell-out like Robert De Niro and Harrison Ford and George Clooney.' I'm like, 'Where the f*** did that come from?'" Clooney said in a new interview with GQ Magazine on Tuesday.

(His list of former enemies also apparently includes TV Guide, “for its habit of omitting Eriq La Salle from its covers back in the day”, and a Washington Post film critic, for suggesting that Clooney's Confessions of a Dangerous Mind was not actually directed by him.)

This celebrity drama dates all the way back to 2013, when Clooney told Esquire that the two had a feud.
"The truth is that [Crowe] did send me a book of poems to apologise for insulting the shit out of me, which he did." (A nice gesture?!)
"He picked a fight with me. He started it for no reason at all," George said.

"He put out this thing saying, 'George Clooney, Harrison Ford, and Robert De Niro are sellouts.' And I put out a statement saying, 'He's probably right. And I'm glad he told us, 'cause Bob [De Niro] and Harrison and I were also thinking about starting a band, which would also fall under the heading of bad use of celebrity.'"
People across social media found the whole thing very 'relatable': “George Clooney holding a seven-year grudge against Russell Crowe is me,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Russell Crowe living rent free in George Clooney’s head,” another person joked.

Even so, it seems Clooney is less concerned about his ‘enemies’ these days, as he told GQ, “I have much more fun watching Chrissy Teigen,” he said, referencing Teigen’s notorious Twitter take-downs. “Somebody steps into her world and you go, ‘Oh, I wouldn't do that, dude.’”
