Jennifer Lawrence is the most high profile member of a 100-strong list of celebrities who have learned their iCloud accounts may have been hacked and intimate photos obtained.

Here is the first of two statements:

It's not OK to publish naked photos of women published without their consent. In fact, it's criminal.

As Van Badham points out in the Guardian, to "excuse viewing the images just because they’re available is deplorable".

It's the equivalent of creepily hiding in a wardrobe because a conversation may be taking place you’d be interested, excited or turned on to overhear.

If you really want to look at pictures of Jennifer Lawrence today, make sure they are the ones she has actually consented to the publication of.
