Jamie Lynn Spears apparently picked up a knife to stop a fight

Don't mess with Jamie Lynn Spears.

That's the loud and clear message from CCTV images obtained by TMZ, which show a woman they report to be Britney's little sister breaking up a fight in a Louisiana sandwich shop last month - by running behind the counter and allegedly picking up a bread knife. She then appears to put it down again, and to shout across the counter at those involved

The 23-year-old was at a Pita Pit in Hammond at around 2am on a Sunday morning last month when the fight broke out, according to the shop's owner Jack J Brighenti.

"A group of males got into an altercation and for some reason Jamie Lynn Spears ran behind the counter and picked up a bread knife," he told E-News. "Our management called the police immediately and thankfully nothing else happened."

i100.co.uk has contacted Jamie Lynn Spears and representatives for Britney Spears seeking comment on the video. She has yet to comment publicly on the matter.
