Nicki Minaj visited the boy who had a double hand transplant

Nicki Minaj visited the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia yesterday, where she met Zion Harvey, the eight-year-old boy who last month became the youngest person to ever to receive a double hand transplant.

A photo of the two of them was posted on the Instagram page of the Shade Room blog.

Minaj also shared photos with children from the hospital on her own Instagram.

She wrote:

If you need something to do in your spare time, try this.

I left feeling so inspired by these incredibly strong, beautiful, dynamic children. Pray for them, you guys. They would've melted your heart.

Zion, who lost his hands and feet aged two from gangrene, is at the hospital undergoing therapy to help him get used to his new hands.
