The Rock singing a classic George Michael song is the best thing you'll see today

Pro-wrestler turned actor The Rock has delighted his fans with a rendition of a George Michael classic.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson posted a video of himself singing Michael’s single Kissing a Fool on his Instagram for his 287 million followers to enjoy.

In the clip, Johnson is holding an energy drink and driving as he passionately sings the 1988 ballad.

Johnson explained in the caption that the song is one of his all time favourites and said his wife Lauren Hashian captured the clip, which has been viewed 2.2 million times.

He wrote: “Pick up truck rollin’ as the soul & vibe just takes over.

“We took a little road trip and start singing songs ~ and I start groovin’ to one of my ALL TIME FAV songs, from one of the [kings]

“George Michael ~ ‘Kissing A Fool’. Beautifully written. Beautifully arranged. Beautifully performed, by George. Completely f**king ruined by DJ, singing confidently in keys that don’t exist.”

Kissing A Fool was featured on Michael’s debut solo album Faith and was, at one time, the working title for the album.

In his post, The Rock also referenced his own tequila brand, writing: “You should hear me sing when I’m drinking @teremana.”

When playing the voice role of Maui in the Disney film Moana, USA Today reports Johnson would take a sip of tequila while warming up his singing voice.
