Bill Cosby's comedy show in Baltimore was interrupted by a heckler who told him "38 women called you a rapist!"
In a video published online by the Baltimore City Paper, a man identified as Michael Crook can be heard shouting "tell the one about how to get away with rape."
Speaking to the paper after he was thrown out of the show, Crook said: "I wanted [Cosby] to have to face, even if only for a moment, that reality before security escorted me out and allowed him to retreat to the comfort and embrace of audience willing to ignore those women."
The Washington Post reports Cosby responded to Crook's heckles by telling his audience "just remain calm".
We are here to enjoy my gift. We are not here to argue. Let those people speak. We will find them and ask them to leave.
Cosby has been accused of drugging and raping several women. However he has never been charged following any of the accusations against him and has denied allegations against him, describing them as “fantastical” and “uncorroborated”.
