... and we think he may be a little confused.

The independent politician made local news headlines when he became a member of the SNP in April.

This month he made local news headlines again when he left the SNP, saying that he doesn't support the idea of an independent Scotland at all.

I thought that after the referendum, the SNP were going to look to be a progressive party within the remit of being part of the UK.

I mentioned that I didn’t believe that Scotland should be an independent country.

The attitude to that was 'if you’re not for independence what are you doing here?'

While 2016 is just a matter of days away, there's still time for any takers to knock Bowles off his most confused Scottish politician of the year podium.
