Facebook is constantly updating, and certain sections that used to be a big deal have since become irrelevant.

The problem with that is, if you haven't visited said sections in a while, they have potential to cause you some embarrassment.

One of the main sections was for quotes, for a lot of people quotes by bands who aren't together any more and had terrible lyrics anyway.

What you may not have realised is that it's STILL THERE.

So you might want to check for anything that could cause embarrassment and, you know, get rid of it.

Here's what you do:

  • Go to your profile page
  • Click the 'About' tab
  • Go to 'Details About You' on the left sidebar

  • Check the 'Favourite Quotes' section
  • Delete delete delete

Mark Zuckerberg's quotes are actually pretty good, to be fair:

Fortune favors the bold

- Virgil, Aeneid X.284

All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up

- Pablo Picasso

Make things as simple as possible but no simpler

- Albert Einstein
