This beauty queen went viral for all the wrong reasons

Beauty pageants are serious affairs, apparently.

Vanessa Dominguez had made it to the semi-finals of the Miss Colombia contest.

A clip of her waiting for the results of the semi-finals, trying to mask her nervousness has been making the rounds online.

There's a reason for this.

Dominguez lost the coveted crown to her opponent Laura González Ospina, who will go on to represent Colombia in the Miss Universe contest.

And her reaction? Well, take a look:

She was not impressed.

After a few moments, she managed to school her face into an expression of gentle acceptance but it was too late.

The internet had already seen it.

And poured scorn:

People said she wasn't a gracious loser...
