Over half of Britons don't think the EU will agree to Theresa May's Brexit deal

Earlier this week, Prime Minister Theresa May finally shed some light on what the hell “Brexit means Brexit” actually means.

The headline news from May's speech was confirmation she'll aim to take Britain out of the single market, and agree a new trade agreement with the EU.

But the public’s reaction has been somewhat mixed.

A whopping 53 per cent of those surveyed by YouGov this week say the government is doing a bad job on negotiating Brexit.

And 56 per cent don’t think the other EU member states will agree to the sort of Brexit deal May has proposed.

Of those who voted remain in the referendum, only one third agree with coming out of the single market:
