Ronnie Wood has delighted the internet by posting a video showing him en route to the Brit awards... On the tube.
If that name sounds familiar, that's only because he's the guitarist for one of the most famous bands literally of all time.
Wood was a relative newbie to The Rolling Stones, joining in 1975 (about a decade after the height of their fame). But he's still one of its most well-known members, even entering the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame not once but twice.
It’s almost impossible to imagine someone that famous doing something as low key as taking public transport. Surely a limo would be more fitting for an ageing rock star?!
Well, Wood has surprised all and sundry by travelling to the O2 arena for the pop bash on the Jubilee Line. If there’s one place you’re guaranteed to get no satisfaction, it’s on the London underground at peak hours.
When a video of Wood chilling on a tube went viral, people were understandably obsessed. It seems he may just have reached iconic status for a whole new generation.
Oh Ronnie. If there’s one place you’re guaranteed to get no satisfaction, it’s on the London underground at peak hours.
