A study found that millennials are having less sex than their older counterparts.
Those born in the 1930s, it turns out, are having the most sex, whereas those born in the 1990s are having the least.
But for those who are getting busy in the bedroom- what do they have in common?
The secret to having a busy sex life might actually surprise you.
The same study, conducted in 2017 by researchers from San Diego State University, found that the secret to regular sex is... Children.
Yep. Kids.
American couples in households with children under the age of six report having sex more than 80 times a year – which is more than those with older children, and those with no children at all.
The researchers found that parents of children between the ages of six and 12 have sex 69 times a year, and parents of children aged 12 to 17 have sex 62 times a year.
Those with no children have sex 47 times a year.
Make of that what you will.
