TV historian teaches his daughter a great lesson about gender roles

The daughter of TV historian Dan Snow had a medieval feast at her school.

As you can imagine, there were many boys as knights and girls as princesses.

Not his own daughter.

Instead of adhering to gender norms, his daughter went as a Viking fleet commander.

That's right: she went as a powerful Viking Fleet commander called The Red Girl.

People online loved it.

Simple but effective.
