A dog has gone viral after crashing a live news broadcast

Move over Bounce the spokesdog, you've got competition.

A dog has become a viral video sensation after it interrupted a newsreader during a live broadcast.

The news anchor, called Linarte, paused her broadcast when she heard a dog bark in the studio.

The black labrador then approached the desk, before climbing up onto the desk in front of the cameras.

The news anchor said in Russian:

I’ve got a dog here. What is this dog doing in the studio?

After showing some discomfort at the presence of a dog, she continued:

I actually prefer cats.

The clip, originally uploaded to YouTube, was quickly viewed by more than 3 million people.
