One massive difference between Donald Trump and Barack Obama

We're 159 days into President Donald J. Trump's presidency.

He's issued more proclamations, presidential memoranda and executive orders than Barack Obama did by this point in his presidency.

So it's therefore a bit surprising that he couldn't find it in him to proclaim June as Pride month, as Barack Obama and Bill Clinton both did.

Especially since, when campaigning, he told the LGBTQ community from the floor of the Republican National Convention last July:

As your president, I will do everything in my power to protect our LGBTQ citizens from the violence and oppression of a hateful foreign ideology.

As a Republican, I’m so happy to hear you cheering for what I just said.

It is within his power to proclaim June LGBT Pride Month, as Obama did every year of his presidency.

Clearly he either forgot, or it's possible he doesn't actually care about the LGBTQ community.

Here's a full list of Trump's proclaimed days, weeks and months:

Trump has also refused to acknowledge Pride month on Twitter thus far.

Which renders tweets like these...

A little disingenuous.

However, Ivanka Trump did tweet about Pride:

As we know, that went pretty badly.
