Believe it or not we have almost reached the one year anniversary of Donald Trump's election victory.

Yes, it has only been 12 months.

To mark this moment in history people across the United States are going to scream at the sky.

That's right. People are literally going to scream at the sky in agony, and it's all because of Trump.

Aptly titled Facebook groups such as: "Scream helplessly at the sky on the anniversary of the election" are popping up all over the social media platform.

Events in Dallas, Chicago, Austin, New York, Philadelphia and Boston have already attracted thousands of attendees.

The description on the New York page uses a selection of phrases often used by Trump supporters to describe those on the left.

It reads as follows:

Join us cucks and snowflakes, safe spacers and libtards, as we enjoy a collective cathartic yell into the heavens about our current political establishment.

The event has attracted both positive and negative attention from all over the media but the organiser of the Boston event Johanna Schulman wants people to know there is serious message behind the protest, rather than just a bunch of people screaming.

She told Newsweek:

This administration has attacked everything about what it means to be American ... Coming together reminds us that we are not alone, that we are part of an enormous community of activists who are motivated and angry whose actions can make a difference.

Although it is important to acknowledge the tragedy that befell our country on 9 November, we cannot let it defeat us.

It remains to be seen how many people will actual show up - but it does remind many of this person, who was perhaps best known for screaming almost one year ago.
