It's going to be one of 'those kinds of days' in Westminster as MPs prepare to vote for Theresa May's Brexit deal, which is expected to be defeated.
Perhaps sensing the inevitable, it appears that those at Number 10 are trying to make themselves feel better by eating large amounts of Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
These are unlikely to be for the prime minister, who is a type one diabetic and has to keep a close watch on her sugar intake, so they're presumably for her staff, who're probably up to their eyeballs in it today.
We can only guess who will eat them, but we reckon that they must be for someone important, as an armed guard with a flippin' machine gun delivered them to Number 10. Those are some precious confectionaries.
A short clip of the police officer delivering the Krispy Kreme's soon began to circulate online and, with food being stockpiled ahead of Brexit, people can't help but wonder if this is how we will buy and receive food after 29 March.
There were plenty of jokes about there already being too many doughnuts in Number 10.
What is it with unhealthy food and politics today?
Reports suggest that this had nothing to do with the cabinet, so goodness knows who ate them.
