The Queen and Prince William met with victims of the Grenfell Tower fire today.
Police have now confirmed that the horrific blaze has taken at least 30 lives - that number they say, 'is expected to rise'.

Theresa May, on the other hand, has been criticised by many for not meeting any of the tower block's residents, with Cabinet member Tobias Ellwood explaining that she could not due to "security concerns".
So the fact the Queen has made it down to the site; to meet survivors and talk with emergency workers has spurred people to make a very important point about the PM's decision.
The Queen has just arrived at the relief centre to meet those affected so I think the "security fears" argument for May is rather redundant— Jane Merrick (@Jane Merrick) 1497607310
Just think about how insulting the phrase "security fears" is. Describing the very community who already feel neglected/at arm's length.— Jane Merrick (@Jane Merrick) 1497607509
Even people who aren't fans of the Royal Family were pleased with what they saw.

Others, like BuzzFeed's Patrick Strudwick, claimed that Mrs May was most likely avoiding "confrontation from voters".

@janemerrick23 Maybe the PM has more to fear from the general public than the Queen. Everyone loves Lizzie. Can't say the same for Theresa!— Lee Pinkerton (@Lee Pinkerton) 1497610151
It has been announced that Mrs May will be visiting the victims of the blaze in hospital.
