With Labour set for the 'best performance' in London for 40 years at local elections, the Tories have taken a brand new, unorthodox tack to persuade disenfranchised voters in the capital: switching to Labour values instead.
Either that, or someone messed up a copy and paste job. The Haringey Tories appear to have run out of ideas, with an account appearing to be linked to a local branch of the party resorting to copy and pasting a Haringey Labour campaign tweet, but not reading it thoroughly first.
Yep, the now-deleted Conservative party tweet actually read:
Our candidates and activists are Haringey residents passionate about Labour values.
