Man's anti-Obamacare Facebook rant gets destroyed when it turns out he's actually on Obamacare

When these friends got into a Facebook argument over Obamacare, one of them was left a little worse for wear.

The alleged argument centred on the medical support Obamacare provides millions of Americans every day. With just over a week to go before Donald Trump’s inauguration, Republican members of congress are hell bent on trying to repeal the legislation that many people rely on.

In his first press conference as President-elect, Donald Trump confirmed that he will most likely repeal Obamacare. He said:

You’re going to be very very proud of what we put forth... Obamacare is a complete and total disaster... it’s imploding. We’re going to be submitting as soon as our secretary is approved... a plan. It’ll be repeal and replace.

One Facebook user however, was especially happy to learn that Republicans were trying to scrap the act. He shared a story about the Senate voting 51 to 48 in favour of repealing the act on his page for his friends and followers to see.

The post quickly drew criticism, and one associate pointed out that he was disregarding the people who required assistance provided by the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

The original poster responded though; he explained he wasn't criticising the ACA, he was criticising Obamacre. In fact, he explained that he receives his insurance through the the ACA...

That was his mistake.

You see, Obamacare is the AMA.

Honest.
