Hillary Clinton is currently in the UK to promote her new book What Happened, which is her account of the 2016 Presidential election.

During her trip she has made many public appearances on television, ranging from The One Show, to Channel 4 News, to a forthcoming episode of The Graham Norton Show.

Her most in depth interview was on The Andrew Marr Show where they covered a variety of subjects, including her ties to the disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein.

The biggest take-away from the discussion was arguably her views on Brexit and how a deal with the US could help the UK after leaving the European Union.

The former Secretary of State, First Lady and Presidential nominee disagreed with this notion, because in her view, President Trump 'doesn't believe in trade'.

This line of thinking comes after Clinton was asked what a "no deal" situation with the EU would mean for the UK and managed to take down both Brexit and Trump in one foul swoop in 90 seconds.

This weekend has seen Brexit tensions heightened after Theresa May told the House of Commons that the government was preparing for a "no deal" result after negotiations with Brussels ground to a standstill.
