General elections can be exhausting.

But whoever’s running Jeremy Corbyn’s Twitter account has had us chuckling right up until the end.

In his latest iconic tweet, the Labour leader has invoked the infamous feud between Colleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy.

Because, at this point, anything is worth a try.

For those of you who aren’t caught up, Rooney insinuated on Twitter that Vardy had been selling stories from her private Instagram to The Sun newspaper. Vardy strenuously denies that she’s ever sold stories about Rooney to The Sun.

It was, to put it mildly, one of the most sensational stories of all time.

At the end of her a long bombshell message, Rooney said:

It’s…… Rebekah Vardy’s account.

Naturally, “It’s…….. Rebekah Vardy’s account” has become a meme – and it seems that JC has noticed.

Writing his own spoof version of the meme, Corbyn wrote on Twitter:

It's been tough keeping it to myself and not making any comment at all, especially when the stories have been leaked, however I had to. Now I know for certain which individual is selling off our NHS. It's .............Boris Johnson.

Well played, Jeremy, well played.
