We all love the return of a viral moment and today's is especially gratifying.
Cast your mind back to October 2017, when a video of Juli Briskman on a bike giving a Trump motorcade the finger, went viral.
In a cruel twist of irony, Briskman was fired for it... from her job as a social media manager. Cue a collective facepalm moment.
Delightfully, Briskman managed to turn it around, and was last night elected to local office in her state of Virginia.
Her win isn't just a personal triumph but a political one too - running as a Democrat she unseated the Republican incumbent and became the supervisor for the Algonkian District in Loudoun County.
Speaking to HuffPost, she said:
Two years ago I was fired for standing up to the backwards agenda of Donald Trump. But now my neighbors in Algonkian District have backed me up and rejected the Trump agenda.
People are very much into it.
