CNN host directly addresses Kayleigh McEnany and points out the irony of her criticising the media

As Trump continues to fight a losing battle in his attempts to overturn the election results and continuously coming up short he can always depend on his press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, to promote his baseless conspiracy theories to the world.

That being said, people, namely the media are starting to get tired of her antics. During a particularly firey press briefing on Tuesday, McEnany accused the press of spreading ‘disinformation’ over the lack of coverage of the supposed Hunter Biden non-scandal before eventually walking out leading to CNN’s Jim Acosta to heckle her.

Adding to the growing voices of people who are growing tired with McEnany’s rhetoric is another CNN reporter, Don Lemon. On  CNN Tonight, Lemon laid into Trump’s press secretary saying the popular phrase ‘girl, bye’ to her and pointing out how hypocritical her comments on the media are.

In a now-viral clip Lemon directly addresses McEnany, saying, “Do you know she also works for ―girl, bye. Girl, bye. Bye, bye. So much disinformation coming from the podium... it’s every day... comes out, reads propaganda. Talks about what the media is doing. Criticises the media. ‘This is what you should be covering.’”

Lemon then points out the fact that McEnany, before she was employed by Trump, used to be a contributor to CNN and didn’t have much problem with the media then. He added, "I think we got this. You used to sit here on the set with us. I think we got it. When you sat here with us, you thought we had it. You were happy to be here but now we don’t know what we’re doing? Girl, bye.

It remains to be seen how long McEnany will keep up this narrative but come 20 January, she and the rest of the president’s aides will be gone and replaced with Biden’s incoming team.
