Oprah’s shock over Meghan and Harry’s big revelation has become the internet’s favourite meme

The biggest revelation from Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey has received the meme treatment, after the programme aired in the UK on Monday evening.

The US broadcaster was left visibly shocked after Meghan alleged that a member of the royal family had expressed “concerns” to Harry over the skin colour of the couple’s first child, Archie.

“So we had in tandem the conversation of [Archie] won’t be given security, he’s not going to be given a title, and also concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born,” she said.

Winfrey, stunned by the allegation, simply replied: “What? Who is having that conversation with you?”

While neither Harry or Meghan revealed the identity of the person behind the alleged remarks, Winfrey later said that it was neither the Queen nor Prince Phillip.

She told CBS’ This Morning programme: “[Harry] didn’t share the identity with me, but he wanted to make sure that I knew - and if I had an opportunity, to share it - that it was not his grandmother nor his grandfather that were a part of those conversations.”

Winfrey’s look of astonishment has since been the subject of online memes, with Twitter users joking about the revelation which left her so stunned:
