Melania Trump was upstaged by a K-pop star

Melania Trump turns heads wherever she goes - she's the First Lady of the United States after all, and a former model.

But during the Trump's trip to Asia, FLOTUS' spotlight was most certainly stolen.

The First Lady attended the 'Girls Play 2' campaign - an event encouraging girls to get sporty - at the US Embassy in South Korea.

The noble cause ended in an awkward run-in for Trump when she appeared to think a bunch of teenage girls were fangirling over her.

She smiled until she turned and saw it was actually all for K-Pop star Choi Min-ho (Minho from the hugely popular group SHINee).

Awkward.
