Nearly half of Democrats say they would accept refugees from Agrabah - the fictional city in Aladdin

Remember the 30 per cent of Republicans who supported bombing Agrabah - the fictional city in Aladdin?

Remember how ridiculous you considered it? Remember how shocking it was to think that some people have such little regard for what is going on outside of their own borders they would consider bombing a make-believe Disney city?

Well now the Democrats have stepped in to force you to further question US foreign policy as it turns out nearly half would welcome refugees from Agrabah, the fictional city in Aladdin.

In a survey carried out by WPA Research 44 per cent of respondents said they would support allowing Agrabah refugees into the country while 27 per cent opposed. The remaining 28 percent were "indifferent".

The poll also found that young Democrats (18-34) and "a key constituency of President Obama" were particularly keen to welcome and rehome "imaginary refugees".
