Nigel Farage caught lolling away at the idea of 'tracing' immigrants by 'strapping a battery to the back of them'

A video has surfaced of Nigel Farage and Brexit Party MEP Martin Daubney having a right old jolly time.

We wouldn't begrudge anyone (even them) a laugh every now and then, but unfortunately this was... a problematic moment.

During their visit to a battery factory in Ashfield, a member of the public had a "novel way of dealing with the issue" of immigration (Daubney's words) – to strap a battery to "illegal immigrants" because "then they'd be traceable".

This despicable (and entirely illogical) suggestion prompted all the lolz from the two men, who seemed to think it was hilarious.

Farage and Daubney have both been contacted for comment, but sadly we have yet to hear back.

Needless to say, we're not super keen on the idea of violating people's human rights. Maybe let's... not?
