Everyone loved Olivia Colman's inspiring Oscar speech

Olivia Colman proved, once again, she is the queen of everyone's hearts with an inspirational and hilarious Oscars acceptance speech that had the room in tears.

Accepting the award for Best Actress for the role as Queen Anne in The Favourite, Colman seemed stunned (no one else was). Taking to the stage, she said:

Its genuinely quite stressful. This is hilarious. I got an Oscar!

She gave a shout out to her children watching from home, saying

I hope you're watching. This is not going to happen again.

She also thanked her co-stars and director, saying playing the lover of both Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz "isn't a hardship".

She also called Emma Stone by her real name, which is Emily Jean Stone, making for an adorable moment as her co-star looked on with absolute pride.

The 45-year-old Brit ended her speech by saying:

Any little girl who's practising their speech on the telly, you never know.

I used to work as a cleaner and I loved that job but I did spent quite a lot of time imagining.

Be right back, just getting out the tissues.

The 45-year-old then appeared to be asked to "wrap up" her winner's remarks, and responded in the most British way possible by blowing a raspberry.

Not only did the room fall more in love with her (is that even possible?), but people watching from home did too, taking to social media.
