Who doesn't love a good conspiracy theory?

The Moon landings, JFK' assassination, flat earth and the Roswell incident are all classic theories that people have studied for years trying to learn the truth.

Now the latest theory doing the rounds on the Internet is linked to a chain of American steak restaurants and Satanism.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Apparently the locations of numerous Outback Steakhouses in some major US cities form to make a pentagram, a symbol commonly used in occult and satanic practises.

Twitter user @eatmyaesthetics discovered the revelation and his findings soon went viral.

This shocking exposure of the conspiracy to enslave us all with evil steak inspired other Twitter users to investigate the theory.

It quickly went from a little joke to something quite worrying.

Who is behind this? The government? Lizard people? The Illuminati?

This could be a case for Mulder and Scully.

Before the situation got too out of control Outback Steakhouse stepped in and claimed that their trademark meal, the Bloomin' Onion, might be behind this devilish plot.

Amazingly, something good actually came of all this.

In reality, the Outback steakhouse has thousands of outlets, and pentagrams are probably quite easy to draw among any random catchment of them.

But that's exactly what they want you to think...
