While there’s so much focus on the best way to be a parent today, these endless guides give guru-like advice on how to be perfect. It’s unsurprising that these readily dished out rules and regulations actually swiftly fade upon becoming a parent.

In fact, it’s a series of hilarious tweets revealing what life is really like once your little bundle of joy arrives that has offered up an honest view into family life.

And instead of healthy snacks, papooses and baby yoga, it’s seems like being a parent is more about hiding when snacking, secretly throwing things away and screaming, a lot.
