Paul Ryan tried to ‘mansplain’ Congress to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and it did not work at all

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan revealed that he offered advice to New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – who promptly ignored it.

The Republican politician revealed the little anecdote during a dinner in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Recalling the moment he tried to offer a “few little tips” to the 29-year-old Congresswoman, he said: “I talked to her, AOC, everybody calls her AOC.”

She’s the youngest person now there and I gave her just a few little tips on just being a good member of Congress, new.

Ryan had been elected to the House when he was 28 years old.“I don’t think she really listened to a thing I said,” He concluded, laughing.

And what had been the former presidential candidate’s advice?

Take it easy, just watch things for a while, don’t ruffle, you know, see how it works first.

Instead of doing that, Alexandria-Cortez has been unapologetic in her thorough examination of Michael Cohen’s Senate hearing, in trying to push through her Green Deal, and holding all her critics to account.

That AOC ignored his 'advice' went down a treat with the internet

Others said Ryan had tried to 'mansplain' and praised AOC for ignoring it
