Donald Trump's first serious foray into mainstream politics is not going well, if his campaign bank account is anything to go by.
Back in May Trump tweeted the following:
Um, no.
The presumptive Republican presidential candidate entered June with just $3.1 million in his campaign account.
While that seems to be a tidy sum, Hillary Clinton in comparison, raised $26.4 million at the same time.
How did this happen?
According to the Huffington Post, Clinton has some 685 staff working on her campaign, whereas Trump’s staff come in at merely 69.
People jumped on the news, and so the #TrumpSoPoor hashtag was born…

In total, Trump has $21.7 million cash on hand as of June, compared the Clinton’s colossal $103.4.
