Places Britain will be colder than this week

Temperatures in the scottish town of Dalwhinnie plummeted to -11C overnight on Monday and the cold weather is set to stick around across the country this week.

With the “Beast from the East” set to blow in more snow from Siberia, parts of the UK will be colder than all these traditionally wintry places, according to Weather.com:

Stockholm, Sweden: 0C

Bergen, Norway: 0C

Helsinki, Finland: 0C

Torshavn, Faroe Islands: 2C

Reykjavik, Iceland: 4C

Vancouver, Canada: 6C

Newfoundland, Canada: 6C
