Sadiq Khan's election as London's new mayor has ruffled a conservative feather or two, to say the least.
As we reported on Friday, Drudge Report were unhappy, running an editorial titled 'First Muslim Mayor of Londonistan':
Other publications stateside have also been reacting with primeval howls of despair.
The New York Post decided to cover Sadiq Khan's election by regurgitating a news.com.au piece about a 2009 slur he has since apologised for.
Breitbart meanwhile headlined coverage 'LondonisKhan', while a UK editorial advocated leaving the capital.
The former prime minister of Sweden pointed out that under a Trump presidency Khan would be banned from visiting - unless his policy on banning Islam changes.
The good news is at least New York Mayor Bill de Blasio seems to be paying that no heed:
