Scottish cabinet reshuffle: Politician takes two very different photos and transforms into a meme

Another day, another hilarious political press office blunder.

After Scotland’s first minister Nicola Sturgeon reshuffled the Scottish cabinet, new photos were released of each member, complete with happy and serious poses.

While the photos are clearly designed to provide the press with a photo for both “good” and “bad” news stories, to some it was an easy opportunity to create a meme.

Justice secretary Humza Yousaf, who moved from the position of transport secretary in the reshuffle, shared a few of the best memes he’d been sent on Twitter. From Love Island to making jabs at the England football team and Irn-Bru, the results were hysterical. It's certainly nice to see a politician roll with the punches and embrace their meme status.
