Student makes impossible paper ball shot and gets entire class 100 per cent in chemistry

A student in the US has become the stuff of legend (at least in the eyes of his classmates) after he earned his entire class 100 per cent on a chemistry test.

According to Ohio State University attendee Rachel Brown, a chemistry professor threw a paper ball up to the balcony of a lecture hall to demonstrate "donating a proton".

He then offered, as part of an annual tradition, to award the entire class 100 per cent on the first quiz of term if the person who caught the ball could toss it into the rubbish bin.

Student Vinny Forte made the shot with apparently little effort, to thunderous applause from his class. The video, posted by Ms Brown to Twitter, has been retweeted over 100,000 times.

Well done Vinny, the real MVP.
