Amazing moment colour-blind man sees a sunset in all its glory for first time

The best things in life might be free, but not everyone can appreciate the full beauty of a sunset.

That was the situation Aaron Williams-Mele, who is colour-blind, found himself in until his parents got him specially-designed glasses that boost colour vision.

His friend filmed his reaction to seeing a sunset at Whitehurst beach in Norfolk, Virginia, while wearing the glasses for the first time.

"Needless to say, it was a pretty emotional experience," Aaron wrote.

Or, as he says in the video itself while choking back tears: "The f---ing grass is so bright, the f---ing water is bright… the f---ing sky is bright..."
