The European country with the most millionaire households

As the most populous country with the largest economy, Germany is as expected home to more (euro) millionaire households than anywhere else in Europe.

As this chart from Statista shows, this represents 3.5 per cent of Germany's total number of households, compared to 13 per cent in Switzerland or 22.7 per cent in Luxembourg.

Put another way, one in four households in Luxembourg has a net private wealth of at least €1million.

The UK in contrast has almost 800,000 €1million households - or around one in 20 of the total.
