These are the pictures of Steven Sotloff we should remember

A video has appeared online purporting to show the beheading of American freelance journalist Steven Sotloff by Islamic State (Isis) militants. The 31-year-old disappeared in Syria in August 2013.

Sotloff should not be remembered by gruesome videos or the manner of his apparent killing. As with James Foley, his fellow captive who was beheaded by Isis in a video posted online, here are the pictures of him we should remember and share.
