Remember a few weeks ago when Donald Trump shared a Nickleback meme in an attempt to mock the Biden's and their reported dealings in Ukraine?
Well, the president really should have thought about the consequences of sharing such a video as it is now coming back to haunt him.
In the past few days images of Trump hanging out with Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, two men heavily associated with former New York mayor and Trump lawyer Rudi Giuliani.
The two were arrested at Washington Dulles International Airport earlier this week on federal campaign finance charges, just hours after allegedly having lunch with Giuliani.
Given that he was more than happy to mock the Biden's for having photographs taken with people that they apparently shouldn't be seen with, it's only appropriate that the president receives that same treatment.
Step-forward The Bulwark, one of the few US conservative websites that choose to criticise the Trump administration, who has made a Nickleback meme featuring a photo of the POTUS with Giuliani, Fruman and Parnas.
The tweet has already been shared over 11,000 times and people are loving this not-so-subtle use of Trump's own material against him.
