Two women cheat death - by diving underneath oncoming train

Two women narrowly avoided being killed by an oncoming train as they walked along railway tracks - by diving underneath it.

This video, filmed by the train's camera, shows the vehicle missing them by a hair's breadth. Monroe County Sheriff's Department, in Indiana, America, is now investigating the incident.

Spokesman Eric Powell said: "The engineer was pretty shaken up by the whole incident. He threw the locomotive, the whole train, into an emergency brake application and then from then on, all he can do is blow the whistle and just hold on. He's an innocent bystander in all this."
