Unswervingly calm wildlife worker fends off swan to save baby cygnet

Despite the aggressive actions of an understandably distressed male swan, wildlife conservationist Simon Cowell shows incredible calmness to save a cygnet trapped in a fence.

The founder of Wildlife Aid was called out by a local resident living near the River Thames who spotted the cygnet by her house.

It's so lovely to be able to do something like that. Such protective parents. All the babies are together again, everybody's happy and I can go back home and resume my dinner.

Bravo, Simon. Bravo.
