True to form, London has been awash with rain.
On Tuesday, flash floods swept across south London, and in Wallington High Street the downpour created depths of two metres in just a couple of minutes. In June.
One driver, however, wore that stiff upper lip attitude so quintessentially British, and refused to be cowed by the rain.
They turned on their hazard lights (because one must remember to be law-abiding and safe) and proceeded to plough right through the flood.
Well, tried to plough through, anyway.
