A woman gifted her car to a mother in need and people are applauding

Moments of kindness are a rarity in this world, which is why when they happen, they don't go unnoticed.

One woman, in particular, went above and beyond for another mother in need, when she decided to give her car away for free.

The woman’s husband shared the experience on the r/HumansBeingBros subreddit, describing how his wife was trying to sell her old car after she bought a new one. The couple listed the second-hand vehicle as $1200 online, a bit below its value, because they knew anyone looking for a car at that price range would probably just need it very badly.

According to the post, the couple had been in dire financial situations themselves, so they thought they would return the favour to anyone looking for a car.

The lucky buyer was a mother of toddlers who was struggling to make ends meet. When she expressed her interest she mentioned that she would have to wait a few days to pay because she was waiting for her taxes to come in.

But the seller decided to give her car away for no price at all, saying she wanted to "give it someone who really needed it".
