Every day on the internet, a new star is born.
In this case, a woman has literally become an internet star after singing Shallow, the theme song from 2018’s A Star is Born, into a mic.
Online talkshow host Kevin Freshwater asked a commuter to finish the lyrics to the Lady Gaga hit and she sang so well that she’s gone viral. Twitter users identified the woman as British singer and songwriter Charlotte Awbery.

The clip, which has been viewed a staggering 22 million times on Twitter, shows the host audibly shocked when Awbery – a professional singer – starts slaying the song.
