Yes, the BBC's Norman Smith accidentally said c--t live on air

BBC assistant political editor Norman Smith just turned the air blue by accidentally calling Ukip a "personality c--t" rather than a personality cult, live on air on Thursday.

Smith was reporting on claims from the party's campaign director, Patrick O'Flynn, that Farage made Ukip look like an "absolutist monarchy".

A BBC spokesperson told i100.co.uk: "The nature of live broadcasting means that on-air stumbles occasionally happen and Norman immediately clarified he had meant to say cult".
